Software

IRT KilnMonitor has been designed to work with Microsoft Windows 7/8/10/11 32 and 64 bit operation systems (ARM architecture is not supported).

Hardware

PC hardware requirements depend on the number of monitored kilns and the number of used scanners. For servers it is also important to consider how many clients should be served simultaneously. For most cases this configuration will be sufficient:

·Processor: x64 architecture, two-core with 3 GHz per core or four-core with 2 GHz per core

·RAM: 4 GB

·Hard disk: at least 500 GB free space (for history database), 7200 RPM HDD or better an SSD

·Display: 1920x1080 or higher resolution with about 96 DPI (high density monitors are not supported).

·Gigabit Ethernet LAN adapter

TCP/UDP ports

If an external firewall is used, this is the list of used ports that must be allowed through the firewall:

·IRT KilnMonitor Server: TCP 8428;

·IRT KilnMonitor Database Server: TCP 8429;

·WAGO fieldbus coupler (Modbus): TCP 502;

·Linescanners: TCP 2727;

·Pyrometers: TCP 6363;

·Serial RS485 / RJ45 Ethernet Converter: TCP 5048, 5058;

·OPCUA: TCP 4840;

·OPC Classic: TCP 135;

·GigEVision (IR cameras): UDP 3956 and a random UDP port for data streaming.

In case of conflicts, most of the port numbers can be changed in Linescano.ini or in the corresponding device configuration.
