Copying means that you create a duplicate of a file in other location. So, you can have the same file in several folders. On the contrary, if you are moving a file, it means that this operation will change the file location: the file will disappear from one folder and will appear in another one.
To copy an item: 1.Switch to the Organizer mode. 2.Open a folder where the file or folder you want to copy is located. 3.Click on the file or folder you want to copy with the right mouse button and choose Copy from the context menu. This will temporary place a copy of the item in the clipboard. 4.Select the drive or folder you want to copy to, and then click Paste in the context menu of this folder or drive. |
